You probably know my name by now. It's there over on the right. I currently teach English at a Junior High School in Japan. I am from New Orleans. Before coming to teach English, I was working on movies. I studied filmmaking at the University of New Orleans. My short film, "Sur l'Amour des Reves", was shown at the New Orleans Film Festival in 2004. During the past year I finished my first feature length screenplay. I'm working on a second one now. I've also started what may become a novella, or perhaps, with more dedication, a novel. Photography is another of my interests. You can see some of my photography at my site, as well as two of my short films. That's all for now.
A man, forty-something, stares at his reflection in a mirror. "Something's missing," he says to his reflection.
He tightens his tie. His hands rest a moment on the knot.
He picks up his briefcase on his way to the door.
With his hand on the knob, the man takes a good look at his house.
The man stands on the platform of the bullet train.
The man's shaking hands wipe sweat from his forehead.
The bullet train approaches, quickly.
The man's eyes grow large, and empty.
With briefcase in hand, the man jumps off the platform, meeting the bullet train face to face.
