: About Me

I am a 65-year-old female, who has been married to the same husband for 44 years.
We have three children, two daughters and one son. Two of the children were born to us
and the middle daughter we adopted when she was just a baby. We love all of our children
very much, and they have been the greatest blessings in our lives. We have four of the
sweetest grandsons in the world, but no granddaughters. Our oldest grandsons are twins,
aged fifteen; the second oldest is eight; and the youngest of the four recently turned seven, with
a birthday get-together at our house for all our children and grand ones.

My husband and I have experienced many interesting things in our life, including foster parenting,
raising parakeets, and vacationing to several places of interest in the U.S. I started to college after I'd been out of high school for 20 years. That was an experience! There were tough times when I almost
gave up, but would not allow myself that privilege. It was a struggle, driving several
miles back and forth to campus leaving my husband at home with our children. However, he was a good
Sport about it, and was more than willing to help out. That was a dream that I'd had, which I felt I had to fulfill. God has been so good to me in allowing me to be able to fulfill many of my life's dreams and ambitions.

I am happy and content living a simple life, and trying to live to please my Heavenly Father.
I enjoy crafts, such as crocheting, painting, scrap booking, visiting with friends, and anything computer.
I also enjoy traveling, seeing new places; and have been able, by the help of God and others,
to visit places I never thought I'd get to visit, and do things I never thought I'd get to do.
I taught school for 10 years, and am now retired and able to spend more time doing the things
that are important to me, and spending time with my husband and family.

One of the greatest outdoor activities, enjoyed by a huge number of Americans, is the activity of camping. There are a number of ways one can enjoy this great activity.
