After 27 years as a sales rep. for several companies, I opted for early retirement to spend more time at home.
I'm thankful for each new day. I love having more time with my husband and boys. Retirement has afforded me time to enjoy some of my favorite things, like writing, listening to gospel and jazz music, reading, or taking in a good comedy or romantic movie. I'm an avid tennis fan and player,
As a Christian, I feel more balanced and connected when I spend time in prayer with God and take care of my body. I'm a decent cook, and have recently spent time trying out Paula Deens, Pattie LaBelle, and Fish and Seafood recipes.
I stumbled upon Helium and I have come to realize that writing for me is like breathing. I have to do it! I look forward to expressing my thoughts on a variety of topics and developing my writing skills.
