I took my first freelance writing class back in 1986, a couple years fresh out of high school, than I took a more journalistic approach when I started college in 1990.
Every since that first class, I've been writing mostly for a hobby publication, that now publishes in PDF by its publisher, I'm the general editor of that same publication. As of today, I continue my editorial with the publication.
In February 2007, I had Cochlear Implant surgery to restore the hearing I had lost as a child back in the late 1960's. One year later, life in the hearing world has changed quite a bit and memory of sounds as a child and as given me a trust in life itself - The hearing world still sounds the same to me, even before I lost my hearing, loud and clear as a bell.

He was a man with white hair, he must've been in his sixties or so, old enough to remind me of my late grandfather. He told me, he had been a ham for over 50 years, I was amazed, because of the array of antenna's he had on top of his house - walking down the street with a police scanner in hand, he thought I was a ham or as they called them in the days of my young age, an Amatuer Radio Opertator.
