About me - Jan Lazor

About me

Writing is in my blood. From the time I was in second grade, I have been writing. Back then I thought every story ended with " THE END." I later learned this was not true. After high school, I kissed the family farm good bye and went off to seek fame and fortune as a hard hitting reporter. It was then I learned news stories actually end with..

-30-

Now I know they end after 400 words!

With more than 15 years news reporting under my belt, I traded the insanity and crazy hours of the news room for the quiet life of an office administrator by day and mad typist by night.

I am the mother of six grown children and grandmother of one granddaughter, Kinsey, and three grandsons Aiden, Thomas, and Kasey Joe. My life has taken me well beyond the boundaries of my Midwestern upbringing and exposed me to a wide range of experiences and colorful characters. Hopefully this exposure has enriched my writing and brought a smile to your face.
