I'm a retired Army officer - married to a retired Army Nurse, too - living in Tucson, Arizona. My wife and I decided when I attended graduate school in the University of Arizona in Tucson in the late 1970s that we would ultimately return to this great part of the Sonora Desert. Our two decades plus in the Army allowed us to live overseas and to learn to enjoy exposure to various cultures and opportunities to travel just outside our doorways and even further. I enjoy sharing the joys of travel and encourage my friends to get 'on the road'. I'm still interested in foreign affairs and international security so I'll share some of those observations, too.
