I hold qualifications in life sciences, teaching and journalism. Having worked in print media for several years, I recently took to teaching as an alternate career.

I made my first successful foray into Helium when I began writing for the Marketplace, and have since then, stayed associated with this site off and on. I find the support from other Heliumites very encouraging, and believe that editors and experts on this site are ever-willing to offer constructive advice.

I enjoy researching on medical topics, and my other interests include healing modalities, such as Reiki and EFT, both of which I am certified to practise professionally.
