I was born in California and transported along with my family to a small town smack dab in the middle of Wisconsin. Culture shock! In my mid 20's I decided to receive an education in a bit of different culture, and promptly traveled to Europe for just about a year. Another culture shock.
When arriving back in Wisconsin (still wondering why I returned to the same area I grew up in), I became somewhat settled. Married, had one child, divorced.
Since my divorce a while ago, I have strived to find the "real me". Somehow, I think we lose ourself identity when we hit major crisis in our lives. So, in this identity crisis, realized once again, my passion for writing. Here I am.
I currently still live in Wisconsin. Winters are horrible, summers are unbearable. I'm enjoying raising my son and now approaching his teenage years. What a ride that will be!
I have always been an animal lover and have always spoke and fought for the animals rights. If you've ever been to Wisconsin, you know then that this is not an easy fight.
I have 3 horses, all of which are adopted or rescued from neglectful situations.
I have 3 lovely dogs, all of which are adopted.
One house cat, who turned up as a stray and now has a forever home.
And last but not least, 3 barn cats.
I strive to challenge myself everyday with learning something new or experimenting how far I can take myself.
Somewhat cynical, but enjoy life and what it has to offer.

You bring a new pet home. Now it's time for the name. Most people wait a few days before choosing this life-long name. At times, animals do funny things that sparks a few ideas for their name. Others, right from the beginning, have unusual quirks or traits that will help develop a name. Looking back at the animals that have been in my life, they have either acquired their name from the previous owner or have done something utterly silly to earn their name. GERONIMO: He was a barn kitten that was the only survivor of a horrendous Tom Cat attack on the litter. Mother brought him into the hou...
