I'm a photographer and videographer for The Common Language Project - a media non-profit devoted to humane international coverage.
Every now and then I get really excited or frustrated about something I encounter while reporting, and start hacking away at the keyboard. More often then not the end result betrays me as a photographer, not a writer, but I can't seem to stop trying.
I'm currently reporting in East Africa on water scarcity issues.
