I am a single Mommy of three young children. I have always been a spititual person but with age and experience it's getting stronger. Often faultering, but stronger in the end. Through my life's journey's, I thank God that I have had writing to help me through. I believe writing is a gift. I feel blessed to have it. My writing was first recognized in grade school by my teacher. She sent home a note saying she believed I had this "gift" of writing. I don't think I understood the depth of the whole thing...I just remember my Dad being so proud of me. Being raised by my Dad and having two brothers (me the only girl), it was easy to get lost in my writing and reading my books. Writing is therapy and a great way of communication. When I was a child, I wanted to be a reporter and a counselor. I smile thinking back. I look at it now and see that I can do both. I can help others through my writing. With books to enjoy or articles to inform others. To write about a personal experience and have it help someone else is an amazing feeling. To verbally communicate is an awesome thing but with writing, your "voice" could be heard all over the world. The "gift" had been passed down in my family for generations. My Great Grandfather was the President of a major newspaper, my Grandmother was an amazingly gifted writer. I was lucky enough to see some of her things as a child before she passed. As I have grown, I realize that there are so many things I can do with my writing. It has become a major focus in my life. Childhood dreams do come true. I will write and hopefully touch others lives in doing so.

Why I write ...

I always have, since before I can remember. It seems to be something that comes naturally. I write for personal resons, to share life's stories and information. I have recently had many people approach me, having numerous "writing things" to do. I am relizing I can do more than just write for myself.

Being a Mother of three beautiful babies (2,6,& 8), there are countless heart warming gifts I have received, Mother's day gifts and otherwise.
