I am a 46 year old female from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. I am very proud of my roots. I love to write, although I need to brush up on it. It is a way of escape for me. Anytime I feel stressed, I look for a pen and pad of paper. I have been writing songs for many years now, and that is one of my first loves. I just want to be the best that I can be in my writing.

I love animals, especially dogs. I play guitar and piano, and I love to sing. I love to play games on pogo, one of my favorite places on the net. I enjoy cooking out, and spending time with my spouse. My husband tells me, "I am a happy go lucky person, that I don't let anything or anyone bring me down." I just look at today, as it could be my last one, and I want everyday to count. None of us knows what tomorrow may bring, so why would we worry about it. I live as this could be my last day on earth. Keeps me smiling and it keeps me sane.

Should your spouse share caring for your elderly parents? Both of my parents are ill, and age is against them also, but the question is should your spouse share caring for your elderly parents, I would have to say, "NO." The reason is like this he works 6 days a week most of them time, and to add helping with my parents on top of this would just not be fair to him. I have 3 brothers, and that is our responsibility, not my husbands. My dad is 86, and has cancer, plus many other health issues. My mom is 76 years old, and she has several health problems, and to me this is not my spouse's duty...
