As a college sophomore/junior/transfer/what-in-the-world-am-I from North Carolina, I'm more complex than a small "About Me" section on a website could ever explain, but given the necessity, I'll attempt to give a brief window into my life.
I'm a lover of knowledge, desperate for learning, conversation, and the arguing - ahem, "debate" - that often accompanies the combination of the two.
Writing, for me, is a beautiful example of what makes us human - the abstract thought combined with the literal word; the philosophical combined with the mundane; and in many cases, the technological world with that of the ancients.
I write about what all true writers choose to write about - what moves me. At times, that is the topic of religion, or of belief; at others, it is an analysis of a poem or piece of prose that particularly moved me. Sometimes, it's even about that human phenomenon we call "sports." Underneath it all, however, is the desire to spread knowledge.
Along the way, I can only hope to gain a little bit more of that knowledge myself.
