I am 27 years old and have spent a huge portion of my life learning the hard life lessons of love and the "real world". I enjoy reading, writing, singing, and hanging out with my friends. Most of my close friends live a state away or all the way on the other side of the US. I work full time at the National Association of EMS Educators, but when I am not working I am writing my latest novel. I love music, anything from country to heavy metal. I am open minded to pretty much everything and consider myself a sponge for knowledge. I love to learn about anything I can get my hands on especially volcanology, global warming, meteorology, and astrology. I am a firm believer in the saying "Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies." But I'm also one that will tell you anything you want to know. So if you have a question... just ask!

Summer brings the possibilities of everything from cuts to poison ivy to even those pesky summer colds. So, what do you need to keep and what do you need to add? First of all, don’t discard the cold medicines yet. Summer colds are just as bad as winter ones. Double check the expiration dates on the cold and cough medicines, but keep those in stock. Cover all the bases by adding daytime, nighttime relief, and throat lozenge...
