I am a stay-at-home-wife in Pasadena, California and mom to a little paralyzed Pekingese. I have just recently moved here from South Africa where I taught Art Theory and Visual Culture at the University of Cape Town. While my writing preferences are predominantly academic I am increasingly discovering the creative wonders of Poetry and Children's Literature.

I am absolutely delighted to have found this website and am hoping that it will provide me the necessary 'shove' I need to sharpen my dulled pencil and get back into writing everyday.

My favourite memories are of my precious Scottie dog Cullen and my impetuous pekingese Scarlet Fysche (known to us as Mollie) whom I had to leave behind when moving to the States. Knowing and loving these two little creatures has changed my life irrevocably.
