About me

Well hello there! What can I say about me? I'm not anyone special, unless you ask my teenage children. They all seem to think I'm pretty special. I have 2 girls and 6 foster boys - well not really foster boys. Just lads I've taken in, when they've had no-where to sleep at night.

Teenagers are an interesting bunch. They seem to press the buttons of their parents way too far and then end up living on the streets. For the past few years we've had a number of them stay with us.

Due to a severe shortage of available residency for young men at the best of times, these lads generally have no job and no money and consequently - no home. Most children bring home puppies, my girls bring home wayward lads.

Still...they're a lot of fun and certainly make life interesting. There's never a dull moment in our household. Lots of laughter and good times, alongside some difficult moments, with the baggage that this type of child carries.

Apart from that I do love trading options. I love the challenge of picking the share market direction and trading accordingly. I find that, during quiet days on the stock exchange, I'm writing frequently. Sometimes I write more than I trade, so I decided to have a go writing for profit.

I've submitted a few articles to magazines and was surprised to find myself published. Now I'm looking forward to furthering this new found passion.

I love to sew, knit and cook. I cycle or walk most days and occasionally enjoy chocolate in bed, with a great book, on a cold, wet, windy day.

4 of 10

Ahh...to be debt free! Something we all aspire to be, but something that many of us don't achieve. There are so many things in life that we want. Debt is so easy to get into and after a few years of acquiring all that we desire; we find that we are in over our heads financially. It seems that our debt is so great, how are we ever going to manage it, let alone pay everything off?
