I am an assistant professor of nursing and nutrition. I primarily teach obstetric, pediatric, and mental health nursing; the science of human nutrition; and sports nutrition.

I have an associate of arts degree; an associate, bachelors, and masters of science degree in nursing; a masters of science degree in holistic nutrition; and a PhD in health science education and research. My research areas include social learning theory, academic integrity, and ethics.

I have worked as a freelance subject matter expert for Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins and as a freelance writer/reviewer for Elsevier, Pearson, and Thompson Wadsworth.
