Career change, going from being secretary in a consultancy arm of the company to office manager of the department next door. Did it mean more money? Of course not. But then again, everyone's just glad to still have a job to go to.

I've been a blood donor for quite a few years now. I've been donating long enough to reach another mile stone, 25 donations, a pin badge, certificate and a brand new donor card in silver telling everyone that I'm on my way to gold, my 50th donation. Actually, I have now clocked up 29 donations and as long as I'm fit and healthy I will continue donating till the day I am too old. I'm also on the bone marrow donor register but that's a different story altogether. Blood stocks vary considerably over the months.
