As far back as I can remember, I always enjoyed expressing my emotions through writing. I enjoy poetry because it reaches into the inner soul of who I am and it allows the world to feel what I feel.

I have a BA in Journalism from Cal State Fullerton. I have worked at The Daily Titan, Los Angeles Times, Southern California Physician Magazine and Beverly Hills Weekly.

I am currently a graphic designer for a non-profit sports program in California and I also coach year around sports including volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, cheer and track.

A little girl came running up to me before a church service. I saw the excitement in her eyes as she reached saw me in the distance.

I thought to myself, I wonder what this young one could be so thoroughly enthralled with that seeing me would make her literally jump out of her skin.

She called me by name and I smiled with the composure of a well-to-do adult as she neared.
