About two years ago I decided to go back to school, this time I would major in one of my childhood ambitions - creative writing. I am now the proud owner of a BA in Creative Writing and graduated with a 3.74 GPA. It took me about ten years after high school to rediscover my passion for writing.
The greatest thing I have found about this site is the ratings. When I see an article doing well I know what people want to hear. I know that I am providing information they find useful. If I find my ratings dropping I can look to see what it is people want to read. This is a wonderful and useful tool in my writing.
Outside of writing I have a love of reading - anything from the classics to romance to horror, as well as a love for any crafts. I crochet, knit, sew, quilt and am open to trying anything new. Right now I also make and sell plus size clothing online to help earn extra income. I've been crocheting and sewing for about 20 years now, they are my first loves.
After High School I studied art and then business, so my interests and knowledge has expanded greatly in the past ten years. I look forward to what I will continue to learn, and the knowledge and experince I will gain from Helium.
