Hi folks-A recent subscriber to this site (April) and like it a lot. I'm also a singer-songwriter and this site reminds me of Garage Band which is a peer to peer music review site among other things. Visit my site there or at MySpace if you should be in the mood for some alternative folk/country/rock sort of stuff. Great to know so many of us are trying to keep the faith with the promotion and enjoyment of good writing. I also work with the New York State Talking Book and Braille Library doing all sorts of stuff including voice-overs.
I've had some articles published in "Defenestration" and "Polar Priorities" which is indeed an odd combination. Finished a novel a year or so ago but have held off doing much with it as it is cross-genre/off-beat in too big a way for the current marketplace. I'm happy with it though.
Cheers and happy writing.-Mike

They also share the same geographic origins, all four being linked to the Mediterranean countries and used extensively in both Greek and Roman cultures. If you bring in just a handful more, perhaps ginger, basil, and mint, you have a solid foundation to become more cr...
