: About Me

I am 29, I have 3 beautiful children, I have survived 2 divorces and am now engaged to the woman I have loved since I was 19. Hopefully the third time will be the charm! I really don't know what else to say. I have written at random for so many years...only lately have I been writing on a semi-consistent basis. I hope that if you read something I write and it impacts you that you will let me know. I love to get feedback, even if it is in the form of criticism. I am not overly sensitive, so I think criticism would only help me become a better writer.

Inevitable He says goodbye To everything he knows Looking around One last time At the familiar streets Holding in everything He sees and hears Knowing he may Never be back This place and these people The joys and sorrows Will all soon be past for him The inevitability of it all Is fearsome But there is no choice for him now Except to square his shoulders And prepare for a future He doesn't want to face
