: About Me

I am a sophomore at the University of Wyoming and am currently persuing a degree in Communication with minors in Creative Writing and Honors. I am a stranger far from home though, my hometown being a little town called Houma in south-east Louisiana. Snow was a new and exciting thing for me. :-)

I've been described as easy going and fun to be around, but I guess you'd have to meet me or talk to me to know for sure. My passion is reading, and writing is a close second. I'm into rock, especially classic rock and 90s rock. However, I have a very diverse music taste and pretty much like anything but rap.

was to become a novelist.

is waking up and seeing the sunrise dancing on water.

Why I write ...

I write simply to write. If it is pleasing, I am happy. If it is unpleasing... I try again.

My first job ...

was being a secretary's assistant.

was realizing that being yourself means more than being someone else.

It takes a degree of trust to put that first foot down. I have to trust that I tied my laces tight enough. I have to trust that my ankles won't bend and let me fall. I have to trust myself to stay balanced and to turn correctly.
