Some of my favorite pieces for summer also happen to be the most convenient and easy to care for. When shopping for key pieces I always take a look at the tag for the type of fabric and laundry requirements. Cotton is comfortable, it breathes, very easy to care for and eco friendly. Look for texture such as crinkle fabrics, polished cotton, jersey, terry, light denim and poplin weaves. Never over the silk and synthetics, you can sometimes find pieces that require no dry cleaning, breath, fit comfortably and are perfect for warmer weather.
