A writer in the disguise of a marketing director and criminal justice student...

Yes indeed, that pretty much describes me.

I'm 29, an avid writer of anything and everything that comes to mind from fanfiction to original screenplays and novels. I'm a musician at heart so many of my writings tend to revolve or reference music in some way.

During the day I slave as a marketing director. I perform with the belly dance troup Rashaka at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival. I also manage, direct and perform with a theatre group that is currently doing a shadowcast for Repo! The Genetic Opera. I adore too many things to list though Star Trek, Star Wars, Terry Pratchett novels, anime and musicals are among the top loves.

I remember the little things that mean so much to me. Like how one person once called me by my middle name. Told me that it was special to him to call me Marie and that he would use it on special occasions. He never called me that again and I rarely hear from him anymore. I wonder if he remembers. I remember the sound of the birds on Monday morning a few weeks ago when I woke and didn't move so I didn't disturb the one laying next to me. I remember wanting that moment to last. But it had to end, as all moments do and though I've wished to experience something like it again...it hasn't come...
