I am a freelance writer living and working in Manchester, England. I was born and raised in rural Washington State, USA and pursued my BA in art history and German language and literature at the University of Washington, Seattle, Albert-Ludwigs-Universitt in Freiburg and Johannes-Gutenberg-Universitt in Mainz, Germany.
Over a third of my life has been living abroad in Germany, Canada and the UK. I am speak and write in German at a native proficiency. My working experience includes teaching adult education in the areas of ESL and vocational training, sales, marketing, human resources, retail, and non-profit cultural organizations.
My writing interests are very broad at the moment. Presently, I am concentrating on my passions of craft and textiles. Other areas which I plan to explore are green living, travel, regional topics, food, as well as physical and spiritual health. Someday, I would even like to publish fictional works.

I write to express my creativity, empower and encourage others with my knowledge and opinions, and to generate an income in a career that suits my lifestyle.
