: About Me

In the mind of me death was a teenage fear

and the conquering of it, well that I hold dear.

Now its life that I'm struggling with

hugging the wall as I ascend this narrow cliff.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my boyfriend and our two humongous dogs; he is an artist and my muse, my strawberry sunrise. I really enjoy writing and playing music; I have just completed an album of music that I wrote and played and sang and recorded rather rudely, yay. you can check it out at

I am working on editing my first novel which I finished this year '09. Its a science fiction story "The Sword of Atlantis" 160,000 words! I cant believe it sometimes, how does it all pour out? This has become quite the project for me and I am working on saving some funds to publish and print this. It may sit in the drawer for a while but I am just bursting with ideas in the meantime. 

I have also been working on a childrens book called "Morris the Mini Sheep" which I will be illustrating as well. This has been a very fun challenge and I intend on hand making these books and keeping it pretty earthy and local. 

I derive inspiration for writing: lyrics and articles from a deep passion that I have for living and philosophy. I spend alot of time studying ancient beliefs, alternative history and the mysticism of the planet we all call home. I am driven by a need to do my part in changing this world. I want to send people on a journey to the truth, to encourage them to remember that THIS IS LIFE! This is not something to take for granted, we aren't here that long at any given time. 

We don't have time to waste it hating or bickering. We ONLY have time to find solutions to the problems that we've caused. We have just enough time to realize how big this existence is and how incredible small we are in it all. It's really a metaphor for nature; we know that without mosquitoes the entire ecosystem would collapse. We are cosmic mosquitoes!

Why I write ...

expressing ones opinions is the only way anything will ever progress. Beyond that, the working of words is an art and those who have mastered it can weave magic.
