I live on the rocky coast of Maine, with my husband and our cat. All the children have flown the coop, all but one, she has one foot in the door, one at college and one in Paris.
I have been writing since I was 9. Writing actually saved my life.....but that's a whole other story.
I work within the logging industry as the Director of Communicaitons for the Professional Logging Contractors of Maine and The Trust to Conserve Northeast Forestlands.
I have a bastion of tales locked up inside. The ones from before, have been laid on the table. The ones that came after that, I believe, will unfold as a gap of time grows larger lessening the pain or the joy, whichever the case may be. Distance is a great teacher, that is why a view from 30,000 feet is so valuable.
I will work to unlock the fortress and expose the treasures hidden there. Not just from my personal life, but professional as well.

Union Pulled by a force from beyond this realm Two souls stand side by side To face the world in unity With each other as a guide Not a face, nor a hand, or body part Can change the bond they see From the light of a common purpose Where love can safely be So raise your glass and cheer, my friends For new lives have just begun With the power from two beating hearts Under the rays of a new day sun
