Greetings to one and all :) SO...where to begin..hm..
WELL...to start with, I am originally from Long Island. I moved to Ft Myers FL back in 2005 and have been loving it ever since. There is SO much beauty and history in this city. I never even knew Edison and Ford lived here during the winters (their houses aren't far from where I live), not to mention the wonderful museums and nature preserves and sanctuaries here as well. (yeah..my camera gets a lot of OT..lol!)
When I am not working, I am always outside..either kayaking, walking around, or just driving with no place in particular, music blaring and me singing at the top of my lungs. I also enjoy reading/writing poetry and music.
I guess that just about sums things up for now. When my brain feels something stiffer than mashed potatoes, I'll add more...lol. Or of COURSE, emails are always welcome :)
And uh....no yellow monkeys were harmed during the writing of this :P

This is something I was inspired to write. Here's what happened: Early this morning, around 4 or 5-ish, I was drifting in and out of sleep. I had to wake up at 10am to head off for work. I am incapable of sleeping if I KNOW I have to use my alarm. Suddenly, I heard a piece from J. Brahams I had NEVER heard before- A waltz, Op. 39 No. 15. I was listening to it, and I was hearing words. I didn't have the strength to wake up and jot down my fragments. When I got home tonight (midnight), I tried to find the piece of music I heard many hrs before in semi-sleep. I found it, grabbed a piece of pa...
