: About Me

I like to think. Who knows why, but thinking, daydreaming, using my brain and my heart; those things take up a very large portion of my life, and always have.

As a child it was mainly dreaming; dreaming of growing up to be important, dreaming of stories or fantasy worlds and fairy tales. As I got older, I would daydream about the way I wanted things to be in the present, or how things would suddenly change for the better, in a real-life fairy-tale sort of way. I also learned to think about things other than myself; I began to see just how large the world is. I began to realize that there are so many different ways of looking at things.

Now, I love to think about anything that catches my interest. I still daydream, I'm a hopeless romantic, but I can sit for hours contemplating the affect attitude has on one's lifestyle; I can discuss with someone just about any topic and I find it mentally invigorating.

Other things about me: In practical situations, I tend to use my heart more than my head. I often know what I SHOULD be doing, but choose what I WANT instead. I love to read, and I will read anything that's good. I have a big heart, which gets me hurt sometimes, and causes problems, but I don't know that I could write with the feeling I do if life wasn't so vivid for me.

My passion is ...

music/singing. I love to sing, and music is my life.

I know too much about ...

Harry Potter, probably. Oh, and just about anything Star Wars. I'm a hopeless fanatic.

My childhood ambition ...

was to be a ballet teacher.

My favorite memory ...

Holding my baby brother in the hospital 2 years ago, while my mom was undergoing emergency surgery.

Why I write ...

Because I have ideas and thoughts I need to get out. And because I love it anyway, regardless of whether I'm any good or not.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I read fantasy, sci-fi, and teen fiction. I watch American Idol and Disney Channel, and I listen to just about anything.

My first job ...

I started out babysitting, then I worked at McDonald's for a while. I hated it. I'm currently unemployed.

My inspiration ...

is my youngest brother. He is so adorable and amazes me every day with his intelligence and cuteness.
