I'm a writer and an artist. I have a studio in an artist's co-op in Fairhaven, Washington. I've been making art since I was a child, and writing too. Writing only became my serious passion ten years ago. I have an MFA in creative writing now. I draw on my childhood experiences for much of my fiction (novels) and non-fiction (memoir and poetry). I teach writing weekly to a group of spunky women. I am a mother and a grandmother and have a tuxedo cat named Sid.
