Hello everybody. My name is truly James Carter. Friends have called me Cleveland,JC,prez,Jaz,Jimbo,Jimmy and Jim. I've answered to all. I am a poet who has written song lyrics for the Disney T.V. show "Bear and the Big Blue House" as well as other genres (even trying my hand at song lyrics for the rock band "Black Rebel Motorcyle Club")

As a Carter and yes related to that Tennessee Clan, most of my song lyrics turn towards country (but I'm a rocker!). However, even though I love song and LOVE music! My own ability is in a poetic form of writing. A kind of story telling poetry. I can't escape it. Just like a band sounds the same on all of there albums. All of my "good" poetry or stuff that is from the heart is identifiable with the writer. It has a cadence and a language. Sorry for that if u r easily bored. Give it a chance though and I think u will b amazed...because like any artist I am also a fan and I am likewise amazed! It is fun!

On a windswept dream it is to find we rise to greet the day. gaining solace from duty bound to earn our masters pay. steal yourselves with hoary hearts for soon it surely comes war to make the blood run cold and death its bastard son. of things to be I'll never speak with secrets to the grave. and may we meet doom rightously from all these lips is prayed!
