: About Me

I completed my high school in 1995 and then got employed as a teacher in primary school.I was teaching sciences,mathematics,English and geography.
in 1997,my students attained the first position in the province in sciences,third position in mathematics and and second position in English. At district level,English was the first position.
I joined university of Nairobi in September 1997 to do a bachelor of science degree. I majored in chemistry and also did mathematics,operations and research.
during my third year vacations,I was involved in malaria and polio campaigns, counseling people on importance of practicing good nutritional habits. I also visited schools to extend the need for a change in behavior in the fight against HIV/AIDS. I also organized a campaign to counsel,inform and educate people on sexual diseases,a campaign that was dubbed "I CHOOSE LIFE".
My fourth year research paper was based on "SYNTHETIC STUDIES OF CHALCONES" chalcones and isoflavonoids have anti-viral properties.
I have written many research papers on different issues like diseases, health,medicine, chemistry both qualitative and quantitative analytical and descriptive techniques, social impacts of different human phenomena.
I can carry out independent research work, and be able to produce results within a tight schedule.
from September 2003 to June 2007,i was a lecturer in the department on food,nutrition,and dietetics.
from January 2002 to may 2006,I was a tutor, of chemistry and biology under British curriculum. many of my students passed with distinction and qualified.
April 2006 to august 2007,I was a production supervisor in charge of production process,safety and was also called to assist in nutritional counseling and explanation of food formulations and food fortification to different clients with different nutritional needs.
Currently, i am doing a diploma in journalism through the writer's bureau ltd, united kingdom. i began in February 2007.
In January 19th 2008, i began another part time course in deliverance counseling, and healing.

Later in the year, i will be going back to school for my masters of science program.
