Hmm, I always have a hard time starting these 'aboutme' things. I never know what to say, because it seems like it's already been said before. For example, I could just come out and say something along the lines of "Hello! My name is Kay Parsons! Writing is my life!" Because you are at this page though, you already know my name, so that has already been said, and just the fact that I'm here at Helium indicates that I love to write, so that, too, has already been said.
Something that hasn't yet been said is that I'm still a student, living with my family. My greatest inspiration is the world around me and I can't wait to see more of it. I'm saving my money so that I can one day travel to Spain and when I'm not writing or sleeping (I seem to do that sleeping thing hardly at all these days), I'm practicing my Spanish. Unfortunately, I'm still no good at the language, but hopefully I will be by the time I get to Spain.
Other than traveling to Spain and other places around the world, I'd like to become a published fiction writer. That's my life in a nutshell. There really isn't much to it...

The world
New Moon is Stephenie Meyer's second book about Bella Swan and the Cullen family. By now, Bella has spent a good amount of time with the Cullens and has not only fully accepted that they are vampires, but has decided that she is going to be one of them soon, whether her boyfriend Edward Cullen wants her to be a vampire or not. The story starts with Bella's eighteenth birthday, a concept that is entirely horrifying to her because she is now older' than Edward will ever be. Things only get worse when she has a small birthday party with the Cullens and an incident occurs that convinces Edward...
