Hello, and welcome to my about me page. I am not brilliant and talking about myself so, I will just give you a bit about my background.
I enjoy writing both fiction and non fiction and currently this is more of a hobbey as work commitments and studying take up a lot of my time. Ideally I would like to pursue this further and expand but I will have to wait and see. My main area of expertise is Biomedical Science as I have been a Medical Technical Officer for 6 years specialising in Cellular Pathology.
This gives me good opportunitues for different writing experiences, ranging from reports and extended writing combined with research and project devlopments. However there is also a more relaxed style writing for my departmental newsletter every month.
Currently I know that I do not have many articles on here but after just finishing my Masters degree I am hoping to expand this further and i hope that you enjoy what I produce.
Endometriosis is the term that is used to describe the presence of endometrial stroma or glands in tissues outside of the uterine body. It occurs within the following sites, descending in the order of most commonly occurring. 1) Ovaries 2) Uterine ligaments 3) Rectovaginal septum (separating the vagina and the rectum) 4) Pelvic peritoneum 5) Laparotomy scars 6) And rarely in the umbilicus vagina, vulva or appendix Clinically the condition is extremely important as it causes dysmenorrhoea (severe uterine pain during menstruation), infertility and pelvic pain along with other common problems...
