About me

Writing has always been a passion of mine. You know the kid in school that would always do the writing assignments while everyone else was doing the art one? That kid was me.

As far back as elementary school I remember writing, and loving it. It's a passion, almost like air to me. My dream was to live in a little English cottage and write stories. Oh course I also planned on attending Oxford while I was at it.

Poetry was the medium that got me though junior high and high school. It was the only way I could converse my emotions. From angst pieces to works about my one true love they covered a variety of subjects. With a little polishing I may even share some with you.

I spent a year as an English major, but it was not until I switched over to Business that my writing really started to improve. I started reading and writing more, because I wanted to, not because it was assigned.

Along with my love of writing I simply love to learn. When I get involved with something I have to know everything, and then I like to write papers about it. For instance I have a love for saltwater aquariums, and I can not even began to count all the research papers I have written about that topic; other then that I love my pets (dogs, cats, and gecko), gardening, sewing, acting, and I'm a pretty darn good cook if you ask the right people.

Those however are simply long term interests I also get interested in many things for a few weeks at a time. For example hypnosis was very enjoyable to learn about as well as a fleeting interest in muscle cars. I am also daring (ish) my latest adventure included acrylic nails and eyebrow waxing on a whim. I should be inspired by them shortly. I also love to travel, anywhere and everywhere.

Other then long term interests and short term interests there are two things that make me who I am. My family and my God.
