C. L. Easey has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University where he studied Political Science and History. He has spent over fifteen years working in customer service with eight of those years working in the insurance industry.

He has earned the Associate in Insurance Services and Associate in Management designations from the Insurance Institute of America.

He has also earned the Associate, Customer Service and Associate, Life Management Institute designations from LOMA.
