Me:
I'm a wife of an adorable man and a mother of an almost 2 year old son and a 4 year old stepdaughter. I am the peculiar mix of Chinese/Korean which has successfully blended into a Filipino appearance. I blame my Asian background for the fact that I live in a food-centric world.
I majored in dance, my husband majored in theatre, and we both wish we had double majored in something the world would deem as "useful".
I am in the midst of "finding myself", whatever that may mean. I am revamping my jewelry business, delving into alternative nutrition, pulling out the old goals list that has gone dusty so many times, and attempting to claim "persistent", "achiever", and "in control" as self descriptives whilst trying to be a wife and mom Dr. Laura (Oh, gasp!) would approve of.
I've always felt the need to expel words onto paper although my current expertise in this area does not extend beyond college papers, disjointed journals, and the occasional frustration inspired song.
I love to laugh so much it hurts, I love to dance with my husband like we're crazy people, I love dry humor, good food, sales, and books that promise to enrich my life. I am excited to have more children and hope to someday eat and shop my way through the world. Or at least the places with toilets and drinking water.
I will admit that I am in love with Disneyworld and yes, I prefer to go it childless.
So that's me. For now...
My passion is ...
finding my passion
My parents always told me ...
pray
My childhood ambition ...
Broadway! Haha.
My favorite memory ...
dancing with my husband for the first time
Why I write ...
to prevent internal combustion
My first job ...
St. Germaine's Bakery. Learned that butter and sugar swiftly turns to fat.
My best moment ...
So many with my husband, my family, my son... Perhaps when my toddler kissed me.
My inspiration ...
Life, mine and everyone else'.
