I'm an easy going person as a rule, but I can get rilled when I feel passionate about an issue. This country is in trouble. We citizens of the U.S. should have a lot more to say about what's going on in the world. I've been married 27 years to the same man and we are raising our grandchildren. I have found that nothing much has changed with teenagers. Now I am new at this..and a bit crazy at times...but I am country, and I write like I talk. Just give me a read and if ya don't like it..I'll live.....but I will read your writing.....

Lonely children, with lonely faces Living lives, in lonely places. Stiffled feelings, empty dreams; Never ending, so it seems. Tatered clothing, holey shoes, Trash cans full, from which to choose. Hungry stomaches, sad round eyes Hints of promise, mostly lies. Beds consists of cold hard grounds Nursery rhymes are traffic sounds. Can we help, feed and give? Take them in our home to live? Give them love, give them prayers, Let them see the light. And let them sleep in peace tonight.
