If I were to attempt to give a quick synopsis about myself, in a way that I felt could give the reader an accurate and adequate assessment of the person that is me, I would have to start with music. I'm completely absorbed in music at all times, no matter what I'm doing. And the music I enjoy is very eclectic, everything from Pink Floyd to Ravi Shankar, to The Beatles to Public Enemy.(but above all sits Bob Dylan)
There is so much more though. I enjoy politics, sports, economics, religions, history, reading, and philosophy. As you can see I didn't include writing. I sincerely enjoy writing, but I don't think that I have ever considered it a passion. I do it more for therapy than anything. It has become a release valve for negative energy. I couldn't care less if anyone gets any stimulation out of reading my work, or much less even read it in the first place. It's great if they do, but everything is relative, and a stranger's enjoyment of my writing has no relation to me what so ever. That may be poor writing skill, if you have no intended reader can you produce a high quality piece of work? I believe you can, because just like everything in life, what matters to yourself is of utmost importance. I would rather write something that has meaning to me, than write something for someone else that I have absolutely no vested interest in. I guess that's why I'm at a site like this, if people enjoy my writing great, but if they don't I still get to write on subjects that I choose.
That's pretty much the short and long of it, so if you happen to read and/or enjoy anything I write, congratulations, I'm happy for you.

The 2008 United States Presidential race is, without a doubt, one of the most important elections in the country's history. There is just too much riding on every single vote. As the 2000 election proved, every citizen's vote matters because as few as 5 electoral votes and two hundred thousand populous votes could make the difference. And that difference, in this case, is as antipodal as night and day. In terms of presidential policy, we're talking about two men whose philosophies on every subject matter could not be any more converse or contrary. They are on opposite ends of the political ...
