I live with my husband and 4 children, ageing from 10 to 7 weeks old, in cambridgeshire England. I love writing and am currently doing a course so I can crack on with writing down the many stories in my head but as yet haven't got down on paper.
I enjoy reading and prefer to curl up with a good book than go out on the town, I'm leaving that to the teeny boppers from now on.
I work part time in retail and run a small jewellery business part time too, Well everything became part time when I had little one. My main aim now is to concentrate on my writing full time so I can work from home rather than go out to work.
My husband says I'm opinionated, so I may as well make good use of it.

To say a place will be flooded again, is not the same as saying it will be wiped out. To wipe something out denotes complete obliteration. The type of thing that happens when a bomb goes off and everything is flattened. Flattened without hope of salvaging anything. Flood waters do rush in and wreck the furniture and homes, some times even washing in debri and sewage. They do however eventually recede and you have to start over but, unless the land is experiencing major subsidence the buildings will still be standing.
There is nothing worse than having to start over again and again,...
