I am LaJoy. I'm a 32 year old wife and mother. I was born and raised in a small town in Tennessee. I now reside in Texas. I have been writing since high school and dream of one day becoming a published author. I have written a couple of plays and currently working on a novel. I enjoy writing about any and everything and I have a very vivid imagination.

My daughter's name is Adaiah Janay. Adaiah is pronounced A-day-uh. It is a male Hebrew name that means "Adornment of God" or "Witness of God." Even though it is a male name I thought it sounded very feminine. I came across the name while reading the Old Testament book of Nehemiah. The name is barely mentioned in the book but it stood out to me. When I found out the meaning of the name I knew that it would be my daughter's name. I believe that the name you give your child is there blessing, their legacy. I'm a Christian and I wanted my child to believe and follow the Christian faith as well...
