I am 32 years old and live in the South of England. Married and a new mum of one, I have recently returned to work part time in my role of Emergency Department Doctor at the local hospital.

When my Daughter was born last year she had severe unexpected health problems and needed 7 weeks of intensive care. My husband and I will soon be entering a marathon to raise money for the wonderful Neonatal Intensive Care unit that saved her life and enabled her to be the happy, healthy one and a half year old she is today. I graduated in 1999 from St. George's Hospital Medical School in London. Since then I have worked mainly in the South of England, but also spent a year traveling around the world. During this time I worked in New Zealand, and spent a month trekking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal; a truly amazing experience.
