: About Me

I'm a UK-based part-time freelance writer, web designer and editor. I have a betaville page with Helium which specialises in aquarium fish, and run a fishkeeping information website (see links).

I have an LLB in Engligh and European Law, and spent a year studying at the University of Leiden. I used to be a self-employed professional gardener, focusing on landscaping and garden design. Right now I'm writing my first novel.

My other interests include science fiction (in any format!)and music, especially the oldies. I'm classically trained in singing to Grade 7, and also play the guitar. I spend a lot of time working with computers and am also an artist. Some would call me a paradox: creative yet logical and organised.

I recommend Helium to everyone with an opinion. Personally I hope to keep on writing, sell more articles and have my novel published in the future.

Just over three and a half years ago, I broke a toe. No big deal, I thought. Give it a few weeks and it’ll heal.
