Words are power. More than any other weapons, words have the ability to draw out every emotion known to human. Maybe that is why I enjoy being a writer. Not that I love to have power, but I enjoy having my readers provide me feedback to my work. The power of communication through the written word is stronger in today's Internet life we exist in and being a able to communicate with the others has never been easier.
But, first, permit me to say a few words about myself. I am an author by choice, and a mechanical engineer by trait. Both provide different degrees of fulfillment to me professionally, yet writing is something I have done way before I ever received my Mechanical engineer degree.
From when I first could remember, I would spend spare time writing. Whether it was a quick poem or the start of a story that never found an ending, I was scratching away on paper. I can still remember the first prize I won in a local competition in Parker, Arizona. I was in the seventh grade and my poem was chosen as a winner for the competition in my age group as well as the local paper publishing the poem. The pride of that accomplishment was the first in many successes since then.
My first full novel was completed in 2003. "Unforgettable" was and still is the most special book to me. It is a semi-autobiography filled with the memories of a special lady that perished young, too young, from cancer. A Spanish version should be on sale by summer by demand from the people in the area where I live in Spain.
All together, I have published several novels and continue to work on projects. Words, as I said at the beginning, are power. And using them wisely to entertain and affect people in a positive way is my goal.

My passion is ...
Life. We each only have one, so we should live it to the fullest
I know too much about ...
reality. The magic we enjoyed as children disappears with age.
My parents always told me ...
to get a job. So I have two.
My childhood ambition ...
was to keep moving forward and never look back.
My favorite memory ...
is hard to determine. There are so many to say just one.
Why I write ...
I write to entertain and to challenge the reader.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
are too many things to list here.
My first job ...
was working in the school cafeteria during lunch time.
My best moment ...
was when my daughter was born.
My inspiration ...
comes from the feedback my readers give me. Had it not been for them I may have never got past the first book.
Some days are never meant to be just another day. We get accustomed to the routine we call life and take for granted our plans will be followed or flushed; but with a certain degree of control and order. Disappointments will be compensated with the joys we will definitely acquire with accomplishments one is certainly capable of achieving. For some, however, that first step into one’s ordinariness of the morning finds a way of collapsing with an instant act of violence, a sudden interruption of the present destined to alter the intended future. A life is lost, a fami...
