I am a lucky man with a beautiful wife and a beautiful daughter. I hail from a land of ice and snow too many months a year. As long as I can remember I have been in love with words, even if my writing wasn't very good. I retired early becoming bored, so I signed up at the local college where my English comp instructor called me aside saying, "I have never seen anyone at this level who can put two words together as you can". So I changed my focus to writing and the rest is history. Non-the-less, it wasn't until my first public reading I truely believed that I had something to offer as a writer. My poems and short stories have base in life; real life, weather it may be dark and sad or lively and gay. My first thought of the morning is how I wake next to beauty. Then I begin to think: What If? I have filled countless napkins, the back of receipts, and just about any thing else that is handy with my love of the written word. I have one fear in life which is words will again be jailed to protect the jailers. So pick up your pen and keep words free.

Today holds promises tomorrow can not keep. I have fought time each day in its turn. Each dragon slain leaves a scar Bringing tomorrow closer now. The fiery gates may be in tomorrows chest. So today I shall be my best Seeking out a timely quest. To foil morrows retched plot. Tomorrow might be calling loud, But today sings a valiant song. Tomorrow breathes an icy breath I feel it know but I will not cede. Tomorrow, only that baying hound. So I will live and run another day.
