I am a southern gal from Georgia who has lived in the south all my life, except when I lived in the United Kingdom, for 2/1/2 years.
I have two daughters and one granddaughter. I work full-time in retail, and my husband is an organist in our church, and a teacher in a local school.
We have two cats, a male who is in charge of guarding our home and a female who thinks she is a monkey and swings from the trees.
I have always enjoyed reading and writing, but only dreamed of doing on a regular basis. When I was in school I couldn't write a regular story, I had to embellish it and draw a picture to go with it.
I have written a few articles for past jobs and within the local church, but as it goes my writing has been on the shelf for a while.
I am excited about being a part of the Helium family and I have written more in two years than I have in my whole life. The inspiration and encouragement is fantastic!

Why I write ...
My head gets so full, I have to share with others.

It should always have a place in court room dramas, but I want to be fair and consider other alternatives. If we did stop using the book of all truth, in our justice system, what could we use? How about using a medical book such as, "Dr. Seuss"! I think "The Cat in the Hat" would be ideal for new words and phrases, especially in the area of defense. "Horton Hears a Who", might raise some interesting questions. "When and where did you hear a who, and what time wa...
