Hi, my name is Shelly Murray Castilleja, I am a 49 year old, married woman, who first thing in the morning considers herself to be very old and ancient most day... I have a vast knowledge of life in many areas: marriage, divorce, children, grand children, friendship, death, work history, both personal and spiritual beliefs and of course the trials and errors made along the way to all of these.

My goal for this site is to expand my writing skills and creativity. The writing areas I am enjoy the most are my personal memoirs, some poetry and essays or short fictional stories based on my spiritual beliefs. Creativity itself can be challenged by learning something new and different, it broadens the mind.

The long term goals for my writing is to eat, sleep and create the ultimate gift, the ability to touch someone with words of wisdom and words of life through my writing. The desire of my heart, to touch another's heart.

May all who read this be blessed in the knowledge that we all should expect great things from life and the writers who provide the world's greatest adventures to those of us only able to participate "through the author's words and wisdom".

Why I write ...

I usually write to try to inspire belief and understanding that God loves you above all else.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I love reading, all types of books. I enjoy watching crime solving type shows, crafts and home makeover shows also.

My first job ...

was in a women's clothing store, I was 17 years old.

My best moment ...

Having my grand daughter, who is 3, grab my legs and hug me. She told me how much she loved and missed me.. Nothing in the world compares to feeling loved.

My inspiration ...

is my faith, it inspires me to get up each and every day.

Well, let's see, what do the words "Plus Size" bring to the minds of most people? Fat, or should I say "Fluffy"? Ok then, I am very Fluffy. I am about 200 lbs. and I do not actually feel fluffy, I feel fat. Just when I can get to the point of allowing someone to take a picture, "wham" there are those 3 chins again. As you can now tell, my self esteem could use a little work on it. Shopping does not help the self esteem area at all.
