About me

Fifty years ago I decided to take Spinoza's word literally and live accordingly. He said that God is actually nature itself. As the years went by, that understanding made a lot of sense to me and it puzzled me why this type of thinking had not caught on, as it seems. At the same time I did nothing to discuss it, discount it or promote it. We are all free to think what we want and I left it at that. I defended an Atheist that did not believe in a personal God and I defended the Theist that I do belief in God but hardly ever go to church. I was confusing to others but I did not give the time, nor did others wanted to give me the time to explain. My first real job as a design technician was with a marine research facility in the Netherlands. Success with my abilities was quickly recognized and resulted in traveling to the US for a submarine project in 1963. Geography and nature in the US was an real eye opener compared to the rain-soaked sun-deprived Holland. In 1964 I received a job offer in Canada and in early 1965 we moved to Ontario. My engineering abilities and customer relations brought me to a sales position and in 1969 I started a company I called Automation Engineering Company. Consulting was the intent at first and in 1975 manufacturing was added to our efforts. My involvement was with major producers of consumer goods in their desire to implement automation.
I shut down manufacturing recently due to a real slow down with those producers and my failure to find a person that could carry on with my business. I reverted back to consulting with minimum staff. I contributed substantially to automating the flow of goods and obtained several patents in the process. My second marriage is a happy one with a lady from South Korea.
Happy, because God in our minds have the same meaning.

Those alive and well will check for a wil and put up a fuss for whatever the deceased person has bequeathed. An article containing four hundred words can only be dedicated to those alive and left behind by the deceased because nothing of interest happens to the dead person except we arrange for a funeral and speak about a life lost. The cause of death was determined and than we make the necessary arrangements for internment, thats all. When alive we ponder the issue of death but imagine death we cannot. Very likely we cannot because there is absolutely nothing in death that can b...
