: About Me

I am a 34 year old mother of five children and wife of 16 years. I have 4 ferrets, 2 cats and a dog and have been known to take in sick, abandoned, abused or otherwise homeless animals and then rehome them later. I have been a stay at home mother for the last six years. With my baby now 5 and ready to attend kindergarden next year, I have returned to school to get my degree in Web Design and Development. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, yoga, gardening, reading, writing and most especially cooking!

Happy children, a healthy earth and animals who are unexploted and cherished.

Baseball statistics...My husband is a huge baseball fan and I his unwilling student!

Nothing! The TV and Radio are off and I am enjoying my first time alone in three days!

Telling my family i wanted to be a Web site Designer. They were all so excited and supportive. The feeling was like nothing i have ever felt before!

Ah ferret follies! How can one resist? My adventures in ferretopia began when my oldest daughter, then twelve, went with my mother-in-law to pick out Christmas presents for her younger siblings. Because Sis is who she is, she stopped at Pet Wild to pick up presents for our cats and dogs. While in there she was attracted to what she later referred to as "A bowl full of fuzzy!"
