I am the 38 year old mother of two gorgeous daughters! How lucky am I?
I was born in Johannesburg, S.Africa, to British Parents and spent my early years running barefoot in the sun. I lived in Stockport, England, from age 5.(not much sun or bare feet there!) Studied Law at the University of Sheffield and briefly practiced as a Lawyer in Manchester. I traveled a little, married my High school sweetheart on the Beautiful Island of Maui, Hawaii and eventually settled in the American Midwest.
Now my children are both at school I am finding a lot more time to devote to developing my writing career. I love Helium and have sold a number of articles through marketplace. Marketplace is a great resource and provides a fantastic link between publishers and writers.
It really shouldn't get better, but lets see what happens!

Hawaii on a budget may seem impossible, but with some clever planning and a little help it is within reach of the budget traveler.
1. Pick you time carefully. Hawaii is a popular winter escape from the frozen north. Travel between April and November to find the best deals. The weather is beautiful year round, with daily temperatures generally in the 70's during the winter rising to the 80's during the summer.
2. Be flexible with your travel dates. Fares under $300 are not difficult to find but they will only be available on dates that suit the Airline so flexibility is essential.
